I do not read books much anymore.
But back in the day I did and I have had the pleasure of encoutering some fine texts. One such book that I hold very fondly in my memory is "Molecular Symmetry" by David Schonland.
The recent surge in mechanochemistry is highlighting specific examples from a long gone past where it was used, but was not called mechanochemistry.
